Here I am at the Fairport Public Library with Stephanie Squicciarini, Teen Services Librarian, and Pamela Spiteri and Theresa Ferguson discussing an exciting project we will be working on together.
As part of the "Express Yourself @ the Library" series, Drama Kids will be holding workshops at the Fairport Library this summer, with the final project being a live performance (on August 20th) of one of my stories.
How cool is that!
Pamela Spiteri is Director of Drama Kids, and Theresa Ferguson is the Drama Kids instructor who will be leading the workshops at the Fairport Library.

Express Vivian Vande Velde's Rumpelstiltskin
Join drama coaches from Drama Kids International as they teach you acting techniques using Vivian Vande Velde's The Rumpelstiltskin Problem. This is a four week series with a performance scheduled for August 20th. Vivian Vande Velde will be at the performance with a book sale and signing and reception immediately following.
Interested actors ages 11-18 must attend ALL sessions.
Acting Workshops: July 27th, August 3rd, August 10th, August 17th (3:00 pm-4:30 pm)
Dress Rehearsal and Performance: August 20th (3pm-6pm)
(Registration starts June 27th)
